Review from Dukester's Meltdown of 4ft Pimp Live at The Tek
Headlining with a vengeance were 4ft Pimp. And all I can say is that rock is back. This band ooze confidence as they shuffle around the stage and pose & strut between their lead breaks. This is not stale full-on rock n roll influenced by Deep Purple but fast, upbeat and catchy goodtime music. Organs carry the rhythm with their legs feet part and knowing grins except for the guitarist who visibly concentrates on his guitar mesmerizing with his speed and accuracy, the mystique perfectly apparent. They closed with a cover of The Beatles "Come Together" (made their own) and a top speed rock out finish. Smile, you just saw a good show. Superb.
